Position: Sales Associate
$15.00 per hour + Raises and Bonuses
Job Description: As a Sales Associate at Mounds Pet Food Warehouse, you’ll play a crucial role in our mission to provide top-notch care for pets and their owners. Your days will be filled with excitement as you engage with fellow pet lovers, assist customers in navigating our wide range of offerings, and ensure every pet leaves our store with their tail held high.

- Pet-Centric Approach: Embrace our commitment to putting pets’ well-being at the forefront. Guide customers in selecting the best products for their furry, feathered, or scaled companions, considering their unique needs.
- Customer Connections: Create a warm and inviting atmospheres for all customers, initiating meaningful conversations. Share your expertise, listen to their stories, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Display Dynamo: Infuse our store with your creativity by designing captivating displays that showcase the playfulness and practicality of our products. From interactive toys to stylish pet accessories, your touch will make our store a visual treat.
- Team Synergy: Collaborate with your store team to ensure our store operates seamlessly. Share insights, knowledge, and camaraderie while jointly maintaining a clean and organized shopping environment.
- Educational Enthusiasm: Embrace opportunities to expand your pet knowledge and expertise. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in pet care, nutrition, and training, empowering you to educate customers and aid them in giving the best care to their pets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 hours a week
- Availability to work retail hours
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently to shoulder height and reach above eye level
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders
- Computer skills or experience in point-of-sale systems
