Dog Fest 2008 Cancelled
Dog Fest has been a perennial favorite in Madison and the surrounding communities. Thousands of dogs and their caregivers flock to help the thousands of homeless animals in Wisconsin as well as learn about dog-friendly products and services.
For the first time in its twelve-year history, Dog Fest was canceled. The decision to cancel Dog Fest was made in the interest of safety. To put it simply, when the thunderstorm descended upon us it was not safe for man or beast to be outdoors. Many of our rescue groups made the painful decision not to remain for the day as the previous day's weather had been so severe. No one wanted to risk injury to the animals and people participating in or attending Dog Fest.
Mounds is deeply saddened and disappointed for the rescue groups, customers, and all vendors who were unable to enjoy Mounds Dog Fest 2008. Thank you for your interest in helping the thousands of homeless animals in Wisconsin. We hope to see you next year for Dog Fest 2009!

We will be giving away all of the left over free samples from Dog Fest and selling Dog Fest t-shirts for $5.00.
A portion of the t-shirt sales will go to local rescue groups.
