A Typical Day Includes:
- Managing day-to-day store operations
- Collaborating with Assistant Manager and Sales Leads
- Communicating directly with corporate management team to achieve various objectives
- Motivating team to improve sales performance
- Ensuring store/company updates are communicated in a timely manager to staff, and providing updates to corporate team on store performance metrics
- Completing store opening and closing procedures
- Hiring, supervising, training, motivating, and coaching employees for success
- Cultivating knowledge of products available in-store
- Ordering inventory, stocking sales floor, and merchandising
- Operating a forklift safely and within safety protocols
- Ensuring compliance with safety, security and emergency procedures
- Resolving and documenting customer complaints
- Resolving and documenting employee issues
- Reporting and documenting maintenance/repair issues to corporate
- Cashiering
- Selling products and assisting customers with their product needs
- Attending to damaged products per store policy
- Ensuring the store is neat, clean and organized throughout the day
- Other duties as directed by corporate management team
Qualifications:
Full-Time applicants must work 40 hours per week during scheduled retail hours.
- Minimum 2 years of retail store management experience
- Ability to effectively manage others
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently to shoulder height and reach above eye level (Between 1/3 and 2/3 of shift)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders (Between 1/3 and 2/3 of shift)
- Ability to use pallet jacks and other equipment to move product weighing up to 2000 lbs. (Between 1/3 and 2/3 of shift)
- Cash handling and experience in point-of-sale systems required
- Valid driver’s license
