Position: Marketing Content Creator
Job Description: Mounds is seeking a Marketing Content Creator at our Corporate office in Sun Prairie. The Marketing Content Creator will focus on exciting day-to-day marketing initiatives that are key to how the Mounds brand engages with customers. In this role, you would collaborate with leadership and team members across our stores to ensure Mounds is the preferred destination for pets and the people who love them. This position is a full-time, on-site position
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create content across digital media
- Primary platform focus: Facebook and Instagram
- Create and manage website content job posts, blog posts and other page updates as needed
- reply to website contact form inquiries, including sponsorship requests
- Plan and execute customer email campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing and media partners to ensure media plans are executed, identify digital or print ad opportunities that align with marketing goals, and share direction for new or refreshed creative when needed
- Share internal marketing updates with full team for awareness and excitement
- Coordinate in-store events with external partners such as rescues, humane societies and vendors
- Supply store signage needs as they arise
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of digital media experience
- Ability to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am-4:30 pm on-site. Occasional overtime may be required.
- Ability to staff weekend events as needed
- Medium level Canva or other design program(s) skill
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
